- Warping, poor adhesion, or detachment after initial adhesion occurs at the edge area of the Build Plate

- Low precision of the Build Plate, resulting in excessive gap between the build platform and the LCD screen
- Contaminants, protrusions, or foreign objects on the Resin Tank or Build Plate surface
- Aging, whitening, or damage of the Release Film
- Local LCD screen light source degradation or uneven exposure
- Inspect whether there are contaminants, protrusions, or foreign objects inside the Resin Tank
- Filter the resin using a filter funnel before use
- Inspect whether the Release Film shows whitening, damage, or aging
- If any issue is found, replace the Release Film in time
Appropriately increase exposure time:
- Bottom layers: 5–10 seconds
- Normal layers: 1–3 seconds

If the failure occurs suddenly and:
- No slicing parameters were changed recently
- No resin was replaced
- No environmental temperature changes occurred at the printer location
Then the LCD screen may have light source degradation.
(1) LCD exposure pattern check
- Use the Touch Screen to select the Elegoo logo exposure test
- Verify whether the LCD exposure pattern is complete
(2) White paper test
- Remove the Resin Tank
- Place a sheet of A4 paper above the LCD screen
- On the Touch Screen, tap “Tank Cleaning” to run a full-screen exposure test
- Observe the UV light intensity on the paper from a top-down view
- Check whether any local area appears significantly darker
- Focus on the area corresponding to print failure locations
Normal LCD exposure result example:

If the exposure pattern is incomplete, or if local areas of the LCD screen appear significantly dim, it indicates light source degradation.
In this case, the LCD screen must be replaced.
Recalibrate the Build Plate according to the instructions below:
