¶ Fault Symptom:
During printing or after powering on, the touchscreen displays the error message: Duplicate canbus uuid.
¶ Fault Causes:
- The printer is currently a single-extruder model, but the multi-extruder printer mode was incorrectly selected.
- Poor contact or loose wiring at the extruder (print head).
¶ Tools Required for Troubleshooting:
- 2.0 mm hex screwdriver
¶ Troubleshooting Steps:
¶ 1. Check the extruder mode setting on the touchscreen
a. Plug in the power cord and turn on the printer power switch.
b. On the touchscreen, go to Settings → Advanced Settings and confirm that Single Extruder mode is currently selected.

¶ 2. Check the number of extruders setting in the slicing software
a. Open Elegoo Slicer → Edit profile → Basic Information → Print Area → Number of Print Heads, and confirm that the number of print heads is set to 1.

b. Reload the model into Elegoo Slicer, re-slice it, upload the new G-code file to the printer, and test again. If the same error still occurs after re-slicing, proceed to Step 3 for further troubleshooting.
¶ 3. Check for poor wire connections
a. Turn off the printer power switch and unplug the power cord.

b. Check whether the following three connectors are loose and firmly re-plug the connectors at these three locations.

If the error Duplicate canbus uuid still appears after completing Steps 1–3, please contact our technical support team and provide the following information:
- The G-code file that was printing when the error occurred (if the error appears without printing any file, this is not required).
- Firmware version information (Touchscreen → Settings → Info).
- Log files (Fluidd → System → KLIPPY.LOG / MOONRAKER.LOG).
