¶ Fault Symptom:
During printing, the touchscreen or Fluidd displays the following error message:
TMC stepper_y reports error: DRV_STATUS: 801900e0 s2vsb=1 (LowSideShort_B)
¶ Possible Causes:
- Poor contact at the Y-axis motor connector
- Damaged Y-axis motor cable, Y-axis motor, or mainboard
¶ Tools Required for Troubleshooting:
- 2.0mm hex screwdriver
¶ Troubleshooting Steps:
¶ 1. Check the connector on the Y-axis motor side
a. Turn off the power switch and unplug the power cord.

b. Check whether the Y-axis motor connector is loose. Re-plug the connector firmly.

¶ 2. Check the connector on the mainboard side
a. Remove the screws at the corresponding positions to open the bottom cover.

b. Check whether the mainboard connector is loose. Re-plug the Y-axis motor connector firmly.

¶ 3. Swap X and Y motor connectors for testing
a. Turn off the power switch and unplug the power cord.
b. Unplug the X and Y motor connectors, then plug the Y-axis motor connector into the X port.

c. Plug in the power cord, turn on the printer, and click X+ on the touchscreen.
- If the same error still appears, the mainboard needs to be replaced.
- If the error message transfers to the X-axis (TMC stepper_x reports error: DRV_STATUS: 801900e0 s2vsb=1 (LowSideShort_B)), the Y-axis motor and motor cable need to be replaced.
