¶ Cause of the fault:
- X-axis motor failure
- Motherboard X-driver failure
¶ Tools required for troubleshooting:
- 2.0mm hex screwdriver
- Phillips screwdriver
¶ Troubleshooting steps:
¶ 1. Check the connector on the X-motor side
a. Turn off the printer power switch and unplug the power cord

b. Re-plug the X-motor connector

¶ 2. Check the X-motor connector on the motherboard side
a. Turn off the printer power switch and unplug the power cord
b. Use a Phillips screwdriver to remove the five screws securing the bottom cover

c. Re-plug the X-motor connector

¶ 3. Swap the X/Y motor connectors for testing
a. Turn off the power switch and unplug the power cord
b. Swap the X/Y motor connectors on the motherboard

c. Plug in the power cord and turn on the printer power switch
d. Click "Home" or print any model to test
- If the touchscreen still displays the error message "No trigger on x after full movement," the motherboard needs to be replaced
- If the touchscreen displays the error message "No trigger on Y after full movement," the X-motor and X-motor cable need to be replaced
