¶ Preparation
- Print the TPU adapter in advance.
- Turn off the printer and unplug the power cable.

¶ TPU Adapter Installation
¶ 1. Disconnect the CANVAS Communication Cable
Disconnect the CANVAS communication cable connector.

¶ 2. Remove the PTFE Tubes from CANVAS Channel 1
Remove the PTFE tubes from both the upper and lower sides of CANVAS Channel 1.

Reminder: Use tweezers to gently press down on the push-fit connector to release the PTFE tube, then pull out the tube.

¶ 3. Install the Collets
Install the three collets into the corresponding positions on the TPU adapter.

¶ 4. Install the 48 mm PTFE Tube
Insert the 48 mm PTFE tube into the center port of the TPU adapter.

¶ 5. Install the TPU Adapter onto the Side of CANVAS
Install the TPU adapter onto the side of CANVAS.

Reminder: Align the upper groove of the TPU adapter with the raised section on the upper side of CANVAS.

Reminder: Align the lower slot of the TPU adapter with the filament inlet of CANVAS Channel 1.

¶ 6. Install the Long PTFE Tube
Insert the long PTFE tube from the upper side of CANVAS Channel 1 into the upper port of the TPU adapter.

¶ 7. Install the 25 mm PTFE Tube
Insert the 25 mm PTFE tube into the lower port of the TPU adapter, then reinstall the original short PTFE tube from Channel 1 into its original position.

Insert the collet clips between the collets and the TPU adapter. After installation, gently pull each PTFE tube to make sure it is securely locked in place.

¶ 8. Feed TPU Filament into the Filament Path
- Insert the TPU filament into the PTFE tube through the lower side of the TPU adapter. Continue pushing the filament through the PTFE tube until it cannot be pushed any farther.

- Make sure the TPU filament has entered the 5-way filament hub.

Reminder: Once the TPU filament has fully entered the toolhead, the toolhead icon on the filament screen will turn green.

¶ Verification
¶ Touchscreen Operation
- Plug in the power cable and turn on the printer.
- On the touchscreen, go to Filament > Edit, set the filament type to TPU, and tap Confirm.

- Tap Load TPU on the touchscreen.

- Confirm that TPU filament is extruded normally from the nozzle.

¶ Slicer Operation
- Open ELEGOO Slicer and connect it to the printer.

How to Connect the Printer via ELEGOO Slicer
- Set the filament in Channel 1 to TPU.

- Click Slice Plate > Print.

- Select Upload and Switch to Printer Page and Upload and Print, then click Print.
Reminder: The default heated bed temperature for TPU is 35°C, while the default heated bed temperature for auto-leveling is 60°C. If Auto Leveling is enabled, it may take approximately 15–25 minutes for the heated bed to cool from 60°C to 35°C after auto-leveling is completed.
