¶ How to fix
Re-plug the heat break cooling fan cable and check whether the fan can rotate normally.
¶ Tools necessary for toubleshooting
- A 2.0 mm Allen key
- A 2.5 mm Allen key
¶ Troubleshooting steps
¶ Re-plug the heat break cooling fan cable
- Power off the printer. Press the lever of the filament cutter backward to cut off the filament. Lift the front cover of the printing head to remove it.
- Unplug the port of model cooling fan cable.
- Use a 2.5 mm Allen wrench to loosen the 2 screws securing the printing head assembly.
- Re-plug the heat break cooling fan cable on the PCB and check the pin of the fuse.
¶ Check whether the fan can rotate normally
- Use a 2.0 mm Allen wrench to loosen the 4 screws securing the middle housing of the print head.
- Remove the middle housing of the printing head from the front of the print head.
- Power on the printer. Set the temperature of the nozzle to 220 ℃ and check whether the fan can rotate normally.
If the fan rotates slowly or intermittently, replace it with a new fan.
