PHECDA Y-axis Timing Belt Fixing Buckle Replacement

Tools and materials needed

Precautions before operation and machine status
Turn off the power and remove the power cord.
Operation guide
Step 1 - Remove the X-axis front magnetic shading plate and turn the machine over with the bottom side facing up.

Step 2 - Use a 2.0mm Allen wrench to loosen the 2 fixing screws of the Y-axis drive wheel assembly (X-axis motor side).
|
Step 3 - Remove both ends of the Y-axis timing belt from the timing belt fixing buckle (X-axis motor side).
|
|
Step 4-Use a 2.0mm Allen wrench to loosen the two fixing screws of the X-axis drive wheel assembly.
|
Step 5 - Remove both ends of the X-axis timing belt from the timing belt fixing buckle.
|
|
Step 6-Use a 2.0mm Allen wrench to unscrew the 4 fixing screws of the X-axis motor.
|
Step 7 - Remove the motor and use a 2.0mm Allen wrench to loosen the 2 fixing screws of the timing belt fixing buckle.
|
Step 8 - Along the baffle, take out the timing belt fixing buckle from the middle of the V-wheel.
|
Step 9-Put the new timing belt fixing buckle back to the middle of the V-wheel along the baffle, align the 2 screw holes and tighten it.
|
|
Step 10-Use a 2.0mm Allen wrench to tighten the 4 fixing screws of the X-axis motor.
|
Step 11 - Put both ends of the X-axis timing belt into the X-axis timing belt fixing buckle.
|
|
Step 12 - Press the drive wheel assembly outward and tighten the fixing screws of the X-axis drive wheel assembly with a 2.0mm Allen wrench.
|
|
Step 13 - Put both ends of the Y-axis timing belt into the timing belt fixing buckle (X-axis motor side).
|
|
Step 14 - Press the drive wheel assembly outward and tighten the fixing screws of the Y-axis drive wheel assembly with a 2.0mm Allen wrench.
|
|
Step 15 - Install the X-axis front magnetic shading plate, and the replacement of the right side Y-axis timing belt fixing buckle is complete.
|
Replace the Y-axis timing belt fixing buckle on the left side (X-axis fan side)
In the same way, refer to the right side of the Y-axis (X-axis motor side) for replacement.
