On the touch screen, click “Tool - Wifi” and take note of the displayed WIFI and IP information.
Search for “Phecda” in the app store on your phone. Download and open the app.
Click the top-left “Settings” icon, go to “Language,” and select “English.”
On your phone, go to “Settings - WLAN.” Connect to the same Wifi network as the machine (see step 2) using the default password: 12345678.
Go back to the startup screen of the Phecda app, click the top-right “Connect” icon, and enter the machine’s IP address to connect.
After a successful connection, return to the app’s startup screen.
Click “Material library” to select your desired carving pattern and adjust the parameters accordingly for engraving (the parameter settings tutorial will be provided later).
Go back to the app’s startup screen and click “Create” to access the main interface. Within the “Draw” section, you can use the “Brush” feature to draw your desired pattern.
Click “Text” to input the desired engraving text. Click the “Edit” icon in the top-right corner of the text box to pinch and zoom on the text with two fingers, or drag the text to adjust its position.
Return to the “Draw” section and click the bottom-right “Image” icon to open the photo album. Select an image that you want to engrave.
Click “Next” in the top-right corner to enter the “Mode setting” interface. Choose from four styles (Strong, Gray, Sketch, and Dither) for the engraving pattern.
After selecting the desired style, adjust the brightness and contrast of the pattern as needed.
Go ahead and click “Next” to enter the “Parameter settings” interface. At the bottom, select the engraving material to use the pre-set parameters.
You can also choose “Customize” to set the appropriate power and speed based on the material being engraved (using the 10W laser module as an illustration here).
Manually move the laser over the engraving material and remove the X-axis light-blocking plate.
Put down the focal length positioning bar and loosen the two thumb screws securing the laser module. Allow the positioning bar to make contact with the engraved surface, and then tighten the two screws to secure the laser module.
Retract the focal length positioning bar and reinstall the X-axis light-blocking plate.
Go ahead and click “Next” to enter the “Prepare” interface. Click “Control” and choose the appropriate travel range. Use the X-axis and Y-axis control buttons to move the laser to the origin position of the desired engraving pattern. Click “Locate” to confirm the origin position.
Click “Laser” on the “Control” interface to activate the laser beam. Double-check the accuracy of the set origin position.
Return to the “Prepare” interface and click the text box next to the File name to rename it. Click the number in the “Size” section to adjust the size of the engraving pattern.
Click “Job Origin” to set the origin position relative to the engraving pattern.
Click “Stroke,” and the laser will move along the outer perimeter of the engraving pattern, completing a full circuit.
Click “Engrave,” and the app will automatically upload the pattern file.
Click “Start,” and the machine will begin engraving based on the set parameters.
