When to adjust
●The timing belt is too loose, slipping and losing steps, etc., which has affected the cutting and engraving effect.
●The timing belt is too tight, which has affected the cutting and engraving effect.
Tools and materials needed
2.0mm Allen wrench X 1
Safety warning and Machine state before starting operation
Turn off the power and remove the power cord.
Operation Guide: Adjusting the Tightness of the X-Axis Timing Belt
Step 1 - Remove the X-axis front magnetic shading plate.
Step 2 - Press the timing belt with your fingers to feel the tightness of the timing belt.
Step 3 - Use a 2.0mm Allen wrench to loosen the fixing screws of the drive wheel assembly at the rear of the X-axis.
Step 4-Adjust the position of the drive wheel assembly with your fingers to make the tightness of the timing belt appropriate.
Step 5 - Use a 2.0mm Allen wrench to lock and secure the drive wheel assembly.
Step 6 - Press the timing belt with your fingers again to feel the tightness of the timing belt.
Press the synchronous belt with your fingers. If it is neither loose nor tight, the tension is moderate, the laser head moves smoothly, and the cutting and engraving results are ideal, then the adjustment of the tightness of the X-axis timing belt is completed.
Step 7 - Reinstall the X-axis front magnetic shading plate, and the X-axis timing belt debugging is completed.
Operation Guide: Adjusting the Tightness of the Timing Belt on the Left Y-axis
Step 1 - Push the X-axis to the middle position of the Y-axis. (The Y-axis has 2 timing belts on the left and right sides, and take the debugging on the left side as an example)
Step 2 - Press the timing belt with your fingers to feel the tightness of the timing belt.
Step 3-Use a 2.0mm Allen wrench to loosen the fixing screws of the drive wheel assembly at the rear of the left Y-axis.
Step 4-Adjust the position of the drive wheel assembly with your fingers to make the tightness of the timing belt appropriate.
Step 5 - Use a 2.0mm Allen wrench to lock and secure the drive wheel assembly.
Step 6 - Press the timing belt with your fingers again to feel the tightness of the timing belt
Press the synchronous belt with your fingers. If it is neither loose nor tight, the tension is moderate, the laser head moves smoothly, then the adjustment of the tightness of the left Y-axis timing belt is completed.
Adjust the Tightness of the Right Y-axis Timing Belt
Adopt the same method as the left Y-axis to adjust the timing belt tightness.
How to verify completion/success
Press the timing belt with your finger. If it is neither loose nor tight, the tension is moderate, and the movement is smooth, then the adjustment of the tightness of the timing belt is completed.
