- A 2.0 mm Allen wrench
- A 4.0 mm Allen wrench
- A pair of needle-nose pliers
- A new Z-axis motor

¶ Instruction
- The Z-axis motor is located on the both sides of the printer.
- Unplug the ribbon cables from the Z-axis motors.
- Loosen the2 screws securing the Z-axis motor bracket using a 4.0 mm Allen wrench. Hold the motor assembly while loosening the last screw to prevent it from falling.
- Dismantle the timing belt from the timing pulley and then take it out from the gap of the motor bracket.
- Remove the Z-axis motor assembly and loosen the 4 screws securing the motor bracket using a 2.5 mm Allen wrench.
- Remove the motor bracket and four spacers.
- Loosen the 2 set screws securing the timing pulley using a 2.0 mm Allen wrench and remove the old Z-axis motor and the old timing pulley.
- Prepare the new Z-axis motor and the new timing pulley. Put the timing pulley in the installation position by aligning it with the motor shaft.
Note: One of the screws on the timing pulley should be fixed on the cross-section of the motor shaft.
- Tighten the 2 screws securing the timing pulley using a 2.0 mm Allen wrench. Align the top of the timing pulley with the top of the motor shaft.
- Put the 4 spacers in the installation position by aligning it with the screw holes.
- Put the motor bracket in the installation position by aligning it with the spacer holes and tighten the 4 securing screws using a 2.5 mm Allen wrench.
Note: The motor bracket has its specific installation direction.
- Prepare the Z-axis motor assembly and insert the timing belt through the gap of the motor bracket to attach the belt onto the timing pulley.
- Pull the Z-axis motor assembly to the right side to make the timing belt taut.
- Tighten the 2 screws securing the motor bracket using a 4.0 mm Allen wrench.
Note: Align the outer edge of the motor bracket with the aluminum frame.
- Plug in the ribbon cables of the Z-axis motor.
- Replace the Z-axis motor on the other side in the same way.
- Plug in the power cord and power on the printer. Touch "Prepare-all (Home button)" on the touchscreen.
- The printer returns to zero. The printer can be used as usual after it works normally and is re-leveled.
