¶ When to Replace the Y-Axis Motor Driver Board
The Y-axis motor driver board is damaged and not functioning properly.

¶ Precautions and Machine Status Before Operation
This operation involves replacing the Y-axis motor driver board and handling of the wiring. Before disassembly, take all necessary precautions: turn off the machine, and unplug the power cord.
¶ Instruction
- Power off the printer and unplug the power cord.
- Loosen the 2 screws fixed by the PEI limit block at the right front and back side of the printer using a 2.0mm Allen wrench to remove the PEI limit block.
- Unplug the ribbon cables connected to the adapter board on the right side of the printer.
- Use a 2.0mm Allen wrench to loosen the 8 screws securing the cover of the power box.
- Pull the cover out by sliding it down towards the heated bed, and then lift the outer edge of the cover to remove it.
- Use a Phillips screwdriver to loosen the screws securing the ribbon cable ports, and unplug all ribbon cables from the Y-axis motor driver board.
- Use a 2.0mm Allen wrench to loosen the 4 screws securing the Y-axis motor driver board, and remove the old board.
- Put the new Y-axis motor driver board in the installation position and tighten the 4 screws using a 2.0mm Allen wrench.
- Insert each ribbon cable into the Y-axis motor driver board according to the port shape and the label information.
- Remove the cover of the power box. Put the inner side under the heat bed. Put the cover in the installation position by sliding the cover and aligning it with the screw holes.
- Note: Tidy up the ribbon cables connected to the rear adapter board. Do not leave any cable under the cover of the power box.
- Use a 2.0mm Allen wrench to tighten the 8 screws securing the cover power box. (The long screws are fixed on the front and back sides, and the short screws are fixed on the right side.)
- Insert the ribbon cables into the rear adapter board on the right side of the printer according to the label information.
- Put the PEI limit block in the installation. Tighten the 2 screws at the right front and back side of the printer using a 2.0mm Allen wrench.
- Plug in the power cord and power on the printer.
- On the touch screen, touch “Prepare - all (Home icon )” and the printer returns to zero. The printer can be used as usual after it operates normally.
