¶ Description
The model is deviated from its position on the Y-axis direction or X-axis direction during the printing process.

¶ Reasons
- The belt is too loose.
- The pulleys of the build plate are too loose or too tight.
- The fixing screws of the Y-axis motor timing pulley at the back of the build plate are loose.
¶ Solutions
Prepare the tools for troubleshooting.
- 2.0mm Allen key x1
- 10mm open spanner x1
¶ Precaution
Before operation, power off the printer and unplug the power cord.
¶ Operation steps
Before operation, observe the model and distinguish the direction of the layer shift.
- Y-axis layer shift
- X-axis layer shift
¶ If the layer shift is at the Y-axis direction, follow the steps to adjust the printer.
Step 1. Check if there is any slack in the Y-axis belt.
Adjust the Y-axis belt tensioner knob to ensure the belt tension is moderate, neither too loose nor too tight.
Step 2. Adjust the two pulleys to prevent the Y-axis platform from shaking.
- Adjust the two D-type pulleys under the build plate using the 10mm open key.
- Adjust the two pulleys so that they just make contact with the surface of the profile.
- Slide the pulleys by hand; they should not spin freely in the air, and they should not be too loose or too tight.
Step 3. Check if the screws securing the Y-axis motor timing pulley behind the build plate are loose.
If the screws are too loose, tighten the two screws using a 2.0mm Allen key.
Note: Secure one of the screws with the motor shaft.
¶ If the layer shift is at the X-axis direction, follow the steps to adjust the printer.
Step 1. Check if there is any slack in the X-axis belt.
Adjust the X-axis belt tensioner knob to ensure the belt tension is moderate, neither too loose nor too tight.
Step 2. Adjust the two pulleys to prevent the X-axis print head from shaking.
- Adjust the two D-type pulleys under the build plate using the 10mm open key.
- Slide the pulleys by hand. They should not spin freely in the air, and they should not be too loose or too tight.
Step 3. Check if the fixed screws of the X-axis motor timing pulley on the left side of the X-axis are loose.

If the screws are loose, remove the X-axis limit switch wires.

Loosen the three fixing screws of the X-axis limit holder using a 2.mm Allen key, and take off the X-axis limit holder.

Tighten the two screws of the X-axis timing pulley using a 2.0mm Allen key.
Note: Secure one of the screws with the motor shaft.
