¶ Precautions
Power off the printer before performing maintenance. If the printer is used frequently, it is recommended to perform this maintenance once a month.
¶ Instructions
¶ Lubricate the X-Axis Guide Rails

Move the print head back and forth. Use a paper towel to remove any debris and old grease from the metal U-wheels and the upper and lower X-axis guide rails.
Note: Hold the paper towel against the surface of the U-wheel, then move the print head back and forth to clean the wheel thoroughly.
- After cleaning, apply lubricating grease to the metal U-wheels and the upper and lower X-axis guide rails.
- Move the print head back and forth several times to distribute the grease evenly.
¶ Lubricate the Y-Axis Guide Rails

Move the print platform back and forth. Use a paper towel to remove any debris and old grease from the metal U-wheels and the upper and lower Y-axis guide rails.
Note: Hold the paper towel against the surface of the U-wheel, then move the print platform back and forth to clean the wheel thoroughly.
- After cleaning, apply lubricating grease to the metal U-wheels and the upper and lower Y-axis guide rails.
- Move the print platform back and forth several times to distribute the grease evenly.
¶ Lubricate the Z-Axis Lead Screws
- Use a paper towel to remove any dirt and old grease from the left and right Z-axis lead screws.
- After cleaning, apply lubricating grease evenly to the surfaces of both lead screws.
- Power on the printer and perform the homing operation. This allows the grease to spread evenly across the moving components. The printer is now ready for use.
