Precautions and Machine state before starting operation
Please take all necessary precautions when performing these operations, wearing insulated gloves is recommended. For some operations, please power off the machine and wait for the print head to cool down completely.
Operation steps
1-Remove the front cover of the print head
1. Before the operation, you need to pull out the filament first, then power off the printer, and use a 2.0mm Allen wrench to loosen the two fixing screws of the whole print head assembly.
2. Use a 2.0mm Allen wrench to loosen the two fixing screws of the whole print head assembly, and remove the front cover of the print head.
3. Use a Phillips screwdriver to loosen the four fixing screws of the "fan bracket" (two on each side).
4. Take down a little bit of the "fan bracket" assembly and unplug the "proximity switch" cable on the left side of the print head.
5. Remove the "fan assembly" and place it on top of the print head assembly (It will be easier to place it after combing the cables).
2-Replace the nozzle
1. Remove the black "silicone sleeve" wrapped on the heated chamber (Ensure the nozzle has completely cooled down).
2. Power on the printer, click [Prepare-Temperature] on the touch screen to enter the temperature control interface, and set the nozzle temperature to 210°C.
3. Use pliers to hold and fixed square metal heated chamber from the front (there is a ceramic heating element at the rear, which cannot bear force), then use a 6mm socket wrench or a 6mm open-end wrench to loosen the nozzle and take it out (operate while the nozzle is heated) ), replace with a new nozzle.
4. Power off the printer, wait for the nozzle to cool down completely, and install the black "silicone sleeve" wrapped on the heated chamber.
3-Install the fan bracket
1. Place the "fan bracket" assembly into the mounting position (align the screw holes on both sides for easier installation), and insert the "proximity switch" cable into the port of the "extrusion adapter board".
2. Use a Phillips screwdriver to tighten the four fixing screws of the "fan bracket".
3. Install the front cover of the whole print head assembly (It has a groove design and can be installed by sliding it in).
4. Use a 2.0mm Allen wrench to tighten the two fixing screws of the "print head front cover".
5. Power on the printer, click [Prepare-Temperature] on the touch screen to enter the temperature control interface, and set the nozzle temperature to 210°C.
6. Press the extruder handle to load the filament into the extruder.
7. Operate on the touch screen to enter the "Extruder" interface. After setting the length of the extruded filament, click "Load".
8. Observe that the nozzle extrudes filaments normally. After re-leveling the printer, it can be used normally.
Note: As long as the print head parts have been disassembled, you need to re-level the printer before printing.
