¶ Troubleshooting steps
¶ Step 1 Check whether the nozzles are officially provided.
The nozzles of Neptune 4 Plus & Neptune 4 Max are custom-made. Non-default nozzles and default nozzles have different lengths. Using a non-default nozzle may prevent the proximity switch from being triggered. Therefore, it is recommended to use the default nozzle.
¶ Step 2 Check whether the PEI sheet are attached to the heated bed.
Proximity switch can only recognize metal and cannot recognize other materials. Do not use the Level and Home functions without attaching the PEI sheet.
¶ Step 3 Check whether the pins at the marked positions are deformed or damaged.
Power off the printer power, and then check whether the pins at the marked positions are deformed or damaged.
¶ Step 4 Check whether the proximity switch plug is damaged or loose.

¶ Step 5 Check whether the screws fixing the hotend are loose.
¶ Step 6 Reset the Z offset value.
Click Leveling on the touchscreen and temporarily set the Z offset to 0 and confirm whether the issue still occurs.
