1.Turn on the 3D printer power and select "Tools-Manual-50 mm" on the touchscreen, then click to lower the Z-axis.
(Reserve space for replacing the limit switch, making subsequent operations easier.)
2.Turn off the power and unplug the power cable.
3.Lay the 3D printer on its side , loosen the 4 screws securing the Z-axis top plate using a 3.0 mm Allen wrench, then remove the Z-axis top plate.
4.Use diagonal cutting pliers to cut away the hot melt glue securing the limit switch ribbon cable connector.
5.Loosen the two screws securing the Z-axis limit switch using a 2.5 mm Allen wrench.
6.Remove the exhausted Z-axis limit switch and unplug the Z-axis limit switch ribbon cable.
7.Retrieve the new Z-axis limit switch, align it with the screw holes, place it in the mounting position, and tighten the two securing screws using a 2.5 mm Allen wrench.
8.Plug in the Z-axis limit switch ribbon cable.
9.Retrieve the top plate and tighten the 4 securing screws using a 3.0 mm Allen wrench.
10.Turn on the power,once the self-check is complete, the 3D printer is ready for use.
