¶ Fault Phenomenon
- The touchscreen restarts after starting a print.
- The touchscreen restarts after tapping Exposure or other buttons on the touchscreen.
¶ Possible Causes
- An adapter with incorrect specifications is being used, or the adapter is damaged.
- The power PCB board is faulty.
- The constant-current board is faulty.
- One of the following components is short-circuited:Z-axis motor/Z-axis limit switch/Air purifier/Fan
¶ Required Tools and Materials
- Multimeter
- 24V power adapter
- 2-pin cable with VH3.96 female connectors on both ends

¶ Troubleshooting Steps
Tip: To make the following troubleshooting steps easier, remove the build plate and resin tank in advance.
¶ 1. Check the Power Adapter
If you do not have a multimeter, you can skip this step.
1.1 If you have a multimeter, measure the output voltage of the power adapter and confirm that it is approximately 24V. Also check whether the output voltage remains stable.

1.2 The Mars 3, Mars 3 Pro, and Mars 4 use a 24V 3A power adapter.If another Mars 3, Mars 3 Pro, or Mars 4 is available, try using its power adapter with the printer that is restarting.Then check whether the same issue still occurs.If the printer no longer restarts when using another adapter, the original **adapter **may be faulty.
1.3 If you do not have another adapter with the same specifications, you can also use a 24V 6A or 24V 10A adapter for testing.
¶ 2. Check the Power PCB Board
2.1 Turn off the printer and unplug the power adapter.
2.2 Peel back the touchscreen sticker from the upper-right corner.

2.3 Press the recessed area and remove the touchscreen.

2.4 Use a 2.0 mm hex key to remove the two screws at the marked locations.

2.5 Disconnect the two connectors on the right side of the power PCB board, and then remove the power PCB board.

2.6 Disconnect the connector on the left side.

2.7 Use a 2-pin cable with VH3.96 female connectors to connect the two white connectors directly.
Warning: Do not reverse the wires. Connect red to red and black to black. Incorrect wiring may damage the mainboard.

2.8 Power on the printer and run the exposure test again.
If the touchscreen no longer restarts, the power PCB board may be faulty.
¶ 3. Check the Constant-Current Board
3.1 Turn off the printer and unplug the power adapter.
3.2 Use a 2.0 mm hex key to remove the six screws securing the rear panel, and then remove the rear panel.

3.3 Disconnect the connector from the constant-current board.

3.4 Power on the printer again.
3.5 Run an exposure test from the touchscreen and check whether the touchscreen restarts. If the touchscreen no longer restarts, the constant-current board may be faulty.
¶ 4. Check the Components for a Short Circuit
4.1 Turn off the printer and unplug the power adapter.
4.2 Disconnect one of the following connectors at a time, and then power the printer back on:
- Z-axis motor
- Z-axis limit switch
- Air purifier (The Mars 3 does not have an air purifier connector.)
- Fan
4.3 Print the test file from the USB drive.
If the printer no longer restarts after a specific component is disconnected, that component may be faulty.

If the issue persists after completing all the troubleshooting steps above, please provide the following information when contacting Technical support:
- A video showing how the printer restart issue is reproduced.
- Is the power adapter specification correct, and is its output voltage stable?
- Does the printer still restart when the power PCB board is bypassed?
- After disconnecting the constant-current board and running the exposure test, does the printer still restart?
- After disconnecting one of the components( Z-axis motor/Z-axis limit switch/ Air purifier/Fan), does the printer still restart?
