Precautions before operation and machine status
Please turn off the machine and cut off the power supply before operating.
Operation steps
1. Loosen the hand-twist nut of the Y-axis belt tensioner.
2. Use a 2.0mm Allen wrench to loosen the two screws fixed on the Y-axis rear baffle behind the hot bed, use a 3.0mm Allen wrench to loosen the two screws fixed on the side of the Y-axis rear baffle, and remove the Y-axis rear baffle.
3. Slide the hot bed and take out the whole hot bed from the rear of the printer (Pay attention to combing the belt during sliding the hot bed).
4. Remove the two copper sleeve buckles at the front end of the Y-axis synchronous belt from the groove of the hot bed support frame, and pull out the copper sleeve buckles from the passive wheel assembly.
5. Take out the new Y-axis timing belt, first insert the left copper sleeve buckle into the groove, and pay attention to the belt teeth facing inwards.
6. Pass the right copper sleeve buckle through the passive wheel assembly and snap it into the groove. Note that the screw of the passive wheel assembly faces outward (Comb the Y-axis timing belt to facilitate subsequent installation).
7. From the rear of the Y-axis aluminum profile, slide the hot bed assembly onto the Y-axis aluminum profile, and when sliding the hot bed assembly, comb the Y-axis timing belt.
8. Align with the screw holes, place the passive wheel slider into the Y-axis front panel, and install the hand-twist nut.
9. Hang the belt on the central tension wheel of the hot bed and the Y-axis motor synchronous wheel.
10. Turn the Y-axis belt tensioner knob to adjust the Y-axis belt tension to moderate. It should feel neither too loose nor too tight when you pinch it with your hands.
11. Install the Y-axis rear baffle, use a 2.0mm Allen wrench to tighten the two screws fixed on the top of the Y-axis rear baffle, and use a 3.0mm Allen wrench to tighten the two screws fixed on the side of the Y-axis rear baffle.
12. Click [Prepare-HOME Button (return to home)] on the touch screen.
