Precautions before operation and machine status
This operation involves the disassembly and installation of the internal cables of the printer. Please take all necessary precautions before disassembling the printer. Please turn off the machine and cut off the power supply.
Operation steps
1. Press the "horn terminal" on both sides with your hands to pop out the cable, and take out the print head cable from the fastener.
2. Unplug the rear fan assembly cable and the X-axis motor cable.
3. Use an H2.5 Allen wrench to loosen the fixing screw of the cable clamp and remove the cable.
4. Remove the cable fixing buckle and take out the drawer box in front of the print head (Neptune 4 Plus does not have a drawer box).
5. Use an H2.0 Allen wrench to loosen the 20 screws fixed on the bottom cover.
6. Open the bottom cover from the side, and then unplug the cable interface of the motherboard cooling fan.
7. Use diagonal pliers to cut off the 6 cable ties fixing the cables.
8. Unplug the cable ports of each branch at the front end of the print head cable from the motherboard, and use a slotted screwdriver to loosen the fixing screw of the "HE0" port.
9. Replace the new print head cable and insert the cable ports of each branch at the front end of the print head cable into the motherboard (refer to the labels of the ports on each cable).
10. Use five cable ties to fix the internal cables, align the bottom cover of the printer with the installation position, and lay it on its side.
11. Insert the motherboard cooling fan cable into the motherboard's FAN6 port, and use an H2.0 Allen wrench to tighten the 20 screws fixed on the bottom cover.
12. Install the drawer box in front of the printer, align the buckle with the groove of the aluminum profile, and fix the cable on the side.
13. Insert the X-axis motor cable into the port and the rear fan assembly cable into the port.
14. Insert the print head cable into the "horn self-locking terminal" and put the cable into the fastener.
15. Move the print head, reserve enough cable length for movement, put the cable into the cable clamp, and use an H2.5 hexagonal wrench to tighten the cable clamp fixing screw.
