Operation steps
1. Use a Phillips screwdriver to loosen the six screws fixed on the back cover of the printer, and put down the back cover of the printer (Be careful that there are cable connections inside).
2. Tear off the tape attached to the LCD screen cable. (Do not discard the torn off tape, you can continue to use it later).
3. Open the cover of the LCD cable holder on the motherboard and remove the LCD screen cable.
4. Unplug the motor cable, air purifier cable, and limit switch cable on the motherboard in sequence.
5. Use a 2.5mm Allen wrench to loosen the six screws fixing the middle plate, and lift up the middle plate part.
6. Use a 3.0mm Allen wrench to loosen the two screws fixing the Z-axis top cover, and remove the Z-axis top cover.
7. Use a 2.5mm Allen wrench to loosen the two screws fixing the anti-backlash nut.
8. Hold the lead screw with one hand, turn the anti-backlash nut with the other hand, and remove the anti-backlash nut from the top of the screw rod.
9. Use a 2.5mm Allen wrench to loosen the two screws fixing the motor. Hold the motor from the rear to prevent it from falling, and pull out the lead screw motor from the rear.
10. Pull out the lead screw motor from the rear and unplug the motor cable.
11. Use a 2.5mm Allen wrench to loosen the two screws fixing the shock washer, and remove the shock washer from the top of the lead screw.
12. Take out the new lead screw motor and place the shock washer from the top of the lead screw to the mounting position.
13. Use a 2.5mm Allen wrench to tighten the two screws fixing the shock washer.
14. Insert the motor cable, and insert the lead screw motor from the rear of the mounting hole.
15. Use a 2.5mm Allen wrench to tighten the two screws fixing the motor.
16. Hold the lead screw with one hand, turn the anti-backlash nut with the other hand, and install the anti-backlash nut from the top of the screw rod.
17. Slide the connecting slider upward to align the anti-backlash nut with the screw holes.
18. Use a 2.5mm Allen wrench to tighten the two screws fixing the anti-backlash nut.
(Note: These two screws cannot be tightened, please tighten them later in the adjustment steps)
19. Align with the screw holes on the base and install the middle plate part. (Pay attention to sorting out the cables.) Use a 2.5mm Allen wrench to tighten the six screws fixing the middle plate.
20. Open the cover of the LCD cable holder and insert the LCD cable, then snap the cover and attach the fixing tape (pay attention to the front and back of the cable).
21. Insert the motor cable, air purifier cable, and limit switch cable on the motherboard in sequence.
(Cable port sizes are different, please distinguish before inserting.)
22. Align the screw holes, place the back cover of the printer to the mounting position, and use a Phillips screwdriver to tighten the six screws fixed on the printer back cover.
23. Power on the printer.
24. Use a brush to apply grease to the lead screw, and operate the touch screen to return to zero, so that the grease is evenly covered. Click the "Tool-Manual" and "Little House" buttons on the touch screen, and the printer will return to zero.
25. After the return to zero movement is complete, use a 2.5mm Allen wrench to tighten the two screws fixing the anti-backlash nut.
26. Align the screw holes, place the Z-axis top cover to the mounting position, and use a 3.0mm Allen wrench to tighten the two screws fixing the Z-axis top cover.
27. Click the 10mm on the touch screen and click the up button several times to observe whether the Z-axis movement is normal.
28. After re-leveling the printer, it can be used normally.
