Operation steps
1. Use a 2.0mm Allen wrench to remove all 6 screws on the back of the printer.
2. Use a 2.5mm Allen wrench to remove the 2 screws marked on the bottom of the machine and remove the rear cover of the printer.
3. Use pliers to remove the hot melt adhesive from the motor port, limit switch port, and air purifier USB port, and pull out the cables in turn.
4. Pull out the WiFi antenna from the motherboard end.
5. Tear off the black tape on the LCD cable port, flip open the cover of the LCD cable holder, and remove the LCD cable.
6. Use a 2.5mm Allen wrench to unscrew the 6 fixing screws on the middle plate and remove the middle plate (be careful not to tear off the cables).
7. Use a 3.0mm Allen wrench to unscrew the 2 fixing screws on the top cover of the linear guide rail and remove the top cover.
8. Use a 2.5mm Allen wrench to unscrew the two fixing screws of the anti-backlash nut. Hold the lead screw with one hand, turn the anti-backlash nut with the other hand, and remove the anti-backlash nut from the top of the screw rod.
9. Use a 2.5mm Allen wrench to unscrew the two fixing screws of the anti-backlash nut and take out the motor from the rear of the middle plate.
10. Use a 2.5mm Allen wrench to remove the 2 screws fixing the shock washer and remove the shock washer.
11. Take out the new lead screw motor, install the shock washer back into its corresponding hole position, and use a 2.5mm Allen wrench to tighten the two fixing screws of the shock washer.
12. Install the motor lead screw, align the lead screw motor with the hole, and use a 2.5mm Allen wrench to tighten the 2 fixing screws.
(Note: When installing the motor, pay attention to the installation direction, with the interface side facing toward the PCB board).
13. Hold the lead screw with one hand, turn the anti-backlash nut with the other hand, install it from the top of the screw rod, and slide the connecting slider upward to align the anti-backlash nut with the screw holes.
14. Use a 2.5mm Allen wrench to tighten the two fixing screws of the anti-backlash nut to two-thirds.
15. Align the top cover with the mounting holes, and use a 3.0mm Allen wrench to tighten the two fixing screws.
16. Install the middle plate back to the alignment holes of the machine, and use a 2.5mm Allen wrench to tighten the 6 fixing screws on the middle plate.
17. Plug in the motor cable, limit switch cable, and air purifier USB cable in sequence.
18. Plug the WiFi antenna back into the motherboard.
19. Open the cover of the LCD cable holder, insert the LCD cable, and then close the cover (pay attention to the positive and negative direction of the cable).
20. Close the rear cover and use a 2.0mm Allen wrench to tighten the 6 fixing screws.
21. Use a 2.5mm Allen wrench to tighten the 2 screws at the bottom.
22. Power on the printer, operate [Tools]-[Manual] on the touch screen, click the [Return to zero] button to control the printer's return to zero movement, and observe whether the limit switch is triggered normally.
23. Apply lithium-based grease to the lead screw, operate the touch screen to move the Z-axis, and the printer can be used normally after re-leveling.
