- On the touch screen, click “Tools -> Manual,” select “50.00mm” and click the “down” button.
- Use one hand to lower the Z-axis, and with the other hand, hold the cleaning tool clamp against the lead screw to clean it thoroughly.
- Repeat the same process in reverse, cleaning the lead screw from bottom to top.
- Use a lint-free cloth to clean the oil stains on both guide rail surfaces, ensuring thorough cleaning of any oil residue in the side grooves.
- Click the “Home” button on the touch screen to reset the Z-axis to the home position. Then use the same method to clean the remaining upper section of the guide rails.
- Use a cotton swab to apply fresh lubricating grease to the lead screw and guide rails, including the side grooves.
- On the touch screen, select “50.00mm” and then click the “Up” button to move the Z-axis to the top position. Apply fresh lubricating grease to the remaining lower section of the lead screw and guide rails, including the side grooves.
