- Internal wiring of the Resin Tank may be short-circuited.
- The heating wire adapter board may be short-circuited.
- The metal contacts of the Resin Tank may short to the outer housing.
- Abnormal short circuit on the heating wire adapter board contacts or 24V/GND lines on the heating wire adapter board.
When the Resin Tank is properly installed, the device restarts immediately when the Resin preheating function is activated via the Touch Screen.
After temporarily insulating the heating contacts on the heating wire adapter board using tape or paper, the device no longer restarts during Resin preheating.

Multimeter
- Temporarily insulate the heating contacts on the heating wire adapter board using adhesive tape or white paper.

- Install the Resin Tank back into position.
- Activate the Resin preheating function via the Touch Screen, and observe whether the device restarts.
- Result determination:
- If the device no longer restarts after isolation, it indicates a possible short circuit in the Resin Tank internal wiring or heating wire adapter board. Proceed to Step 2 and Step 3 for further diagnosis.
- If the device still restarts after isolation, please contact technical support for further assistance (Email: 3dp@elegoo.com).
- Remove the Resin Tank.
- Set the multimeter to buzzer mode.
- Measure continuity between the metal contacts on the tank heating wire adapter board.
Normal condition:
The two contacts of the Resin Tank should be electrically continuous, and the multimeter should produce a buzzer sound in continuity mode.

Any contact point and the outer housing of the Resin Tank should be electrically open, and the multimeter should show no buzzer sound in continuity mode.

- Result determination:
If buzzer sound is detected between any contact and the outer housing of the Resin Tank, it indicates a short circuit in the Resin Tank. Once confirmed, the Resin Tank must be replaced.
- Set the multimeter to buzzer mode.
- Measure continuity of the metal contacts on the heating wire adapter board adapter.

- Normal condition:
The two heating contacts should be open circuit (no buzzer).
24V to 24V should be conductive (buzzer present).
GND to GND should be conductive (buzzer present).
- Result determination:
If the measured results do not match the above normal conditions, the heating wire adapter board may be short-circuited and should be replaced.
