¶ Description
During the self-test, the printer reports an issue with the mechanical sensor.
¶ Reasons
- The printer is positioned on an unstable place or is next to other printing machines, as vibration will cause abnormal detection.
- The mechanical sensor cables are loose or damaged.
- The adapter board is damaged.
¶ Solutions
¶ Step 1. Re-position the printer in a stable place and keep the printer away from any vibration.
Note: You can place your printer on the ground.
¶ Step 2. Check the wiring between the mechanical sensor and the adapter board.
Make sure that the wiring is tight and complete.
Step 3. Check if the spring wire is tangled or entangled.
¶ If it is tangled, refer to the following video to rearrange the spring wire. If it is not repaired after rearranging, you need to replace the spring wire.
