Poor/Bad Printing Quality--Model Layer Lines
1. Jamming of Z-axis Motor/Slider Guide Rail
If layer line issues always occur at the same height on the printed model each time, which probably means the lubricating grease on the surface of the slider guide rail/Z-axis motor has adhered to impurities after long-term use, resulting in jamming of the Z-axis movement. Please use a lint-free cloth to clean the impurities on the surfaces of the motor screw rod and the linear guide rail, then apply lubricating grease to the motor screw rod and the linear guide rail, and move them up and down several times to ensure that the lubricating grease is evenly attached.
2. Aging of Release Film
Please check the number of times the release film has been used and whether it has become aged, causing whitening and loosening of the release film. If so, please replace it in a timely manner.
3. Abnormality of Z-axis Motor
During the operation of the Z-axis motor, please check if the motor screw rod has a severe deflection situation. If so, a new screw rod motor needs to be replaced.
If the ball screw is used in this model, please check if the balls of the motor backlash nut have fallen off. If balls are found to have fallen off, a new screw rod motor needs to be replaced.
4. Abnormal Setting of Printing Parameters
If the model prints abnormally after changing the default parameters, it is recommended to change back to the default parameters, or increase the lifting distance in the slicing software, and then reduce the lifting speed and the return speed.
