Abnormal Noise from the Motor
If there is a loud abnormal noise when the Z-axis is running:
1)It may be that the lubricating grease on the surface of the slider guide rail/Z-axis motor has adhered to impurities or there is a lack of lubricating grease after long-term use, causing the Z-axis to make noise during movement. Please use a lint-free cloth to wipe clean the impurities on the surfaces of the motor screw rod and the linear guide rail, then apply lubricating grease to the motor screw rod and the linear guide rail, and move them up and down several times to ensure that the lubricating grease is evenly attached.
2)If the ball screw is used in this model, please check whether the balls of the motor backlash nut have fallen off. If balls are found to have fallen off, it will cause the Z-axis to run with jamming and abnormal noise, etc., and a new screw rod motor needs to be replaced.
