Printing Failure---Model Doesn't Stick to the Build Plate
1)Check the LCD Screen Exposure
Remove the resin tank and the build plate, then place an A4 paper on the LCD screen. In the tool options, click "Calibration" to expose the logo image for 15s. Confirm whether the exposed images on the touch screen and the LCD screen are consistent. (Kindly note that when performing theexposure test, try to avoid looking directly at the exposed screen to prevent UV light from harming your eyes).
2)Check the Build Plate Leveling
For non-auto-leveling models: Remove the resin tank, clean the build plate and lock it. Place a leveling card or an A4 paper on the LCD screen, click "Print", and observe whether the gap between the LCD screen and the printing platform is too large during printing. If yes, it is recommended to re-level the platform and set "Z = 0" (some models have this function). Pay attention to the flatness of the leveling.

For auto-leveling and tilt-release models: Remove the resin tank, clean the build plate and lock it. Place a leveling card or an A4 paper on the LCD screen, click "Print", skip the error pop-up window during the printing process, and observe whether the X-axis returns to zero normally and whether the gap between the LCD screen and the printing platform is large during printing. If the gap is large, it is recommended that the customer re-level the platform and set "Z = 0" (some models have this function). Pay attention to the flatness of the leveling.
3)Check the Printing Parameters
For ELEGOO official resin, it is recommended to print the test file "ROOK" in the USB flash drive to rule out problems that may be caused by improper slicing. If the same problem occurs to the official test file, it is recommended that you adjust the bottom layer exposure time to 60 seconds. If only the bottom of the model or the bottom valve adheres normally, it is recommended to appropriately increase the exposure time of the normal layers.
For third-party resin, it is recommended that you try ELEGOO official resin for printing tests to confirm that the ELEGOO resin and the printer can print normally. We recommend that you consult the resin supplier, which will help determine the printing parameters that are most suitable for you.
4)Check the Build Plate/Resin Tank
Check if there are any foreign substances on the build plate, which may affect the flatness of the plate. It is recommended that you clean the build plate with alcohol and a scraper as soon as possible after each printing. Before printing, please carefully check whether there are any foreign substances, or metal burrs protruding, etc. on the surface of the plate.
Check whether there are any foreign substances in the resin tank, which also affect the flatness of the plate. It is recommended that you clean the resin tank as soon as possible after each printing failure and regularly check whether there is severe whitening or scratching on the release film which also influences printer quality.
5)Environmental Temperature
When the environment is below than 20°C, the fluidity of the resin will be affected, thus affecting the printing effect and success rate. Therefore, it is recommend to: i. preheat the resin before printing. Soak the resin bottle containing the resin in hot water, fully preheat the resin and then start printing. ii. increase the printing exposure time and the return static time.iii. use some heating equipment to heat up the printing environment.
