Calibration corrects systematic errors in the scanner to ensure accurate and reliable measurement data. Deviations caused by manufacturing, assembly, temperature, and environmental factors can affect scanning accuracy. Without calibration, the resulting pointcloud may contain systematic distortions, leading to inaccurate measurements, models, or assessments.
- Move the switch on top of the scanner to USB mode. Then, press and hold the power button to turn on the scanner.
