¶ Issue Description
During filament unloading, the nozzle purges material at an incorrect position, causing waste filament to miss the nozzle wiper kit.
¶ Possible Causes
- The nozzle wiper kit is not installed correctly.
- An object is obstructing the printer's movement along the Y-axis.
- The X-Y timing belts are too loose.

¶ Troubleshooting Steps
Note:
Before performing any troubleshooting procedures, turn off the printer and disconnect the power supply cable.
¶ Check the Nozzle Wiper Kit
- Manually push the swing arm of the nozzle wiper kit and verify that the pull plate can return freely under spring tension. The image below shows the normal condition.
- If the pull plate does not return properly, use a Phillips screwdriver to remove the screws securing the nozzle wiper box cover and inspect the inside of the nozzle wiper kit for any obstructions.
- The internal structure of the nozzle wiper kit is shown below.
¶ Check the Y-Axis
- Manually move the Tool head along the Y-axis until it reaches the Y-Max position. Verify that the stopper block can make full contact with the printer frame.
- The images below show the normal condition.
- If the cable sleeve is not installed correctly, it may cause abnormal Y-axis homing behavior. The correct installation position is shown on the right side of the image below.
¶ Check the X-Y Timing Belts
- Use a 2.0 mm Allen key to loosen the four screws securing the X-Y timing belt tensioners.
- Manually move the Tool head along both the X and Y axes. The X-Y timing belt tensioners will automatically apply proper tension to the belts.
- Afterward, tighten the four screws securing the X-Y timing belt tensioners.
