The plastic spool has a larger inner diameter, and the Centauri Carbon 2 Combo tends to vibrate during printing. Consequently, mounting the plastic spool filament directly onto the Centauri Carbon 2 Combo's filament holder may cause it to fall off, resulting in print failure.
Therefore, when using a plastic spool filament, it is recommended to print a filament adapter and attach the adapter to the spool.
¶ Instruction
¶ Step 1 Check whether the diameter of the filament spool in use complies with the requirements of the filament dapter.
ELEGOO filament adapter is designed to fit plastic spools with an inner diameter of 72 mm.
¶ Step 2 Download the .stl file of the filament adapter.

¶ Step 3 Print the filament adapter with Centauri Carbon 2 Combo.
¶ Step 4 Remove the filament adapter and push it into the plastic spool according to the direction shown in the picture below.
Note: Make sure that the inserted side of the filament adapter is higher than the spool.
¶ Step 5 Mount the plastic spool into the CANVAS holder.
