¶ Preface:
Default supports can result in a rough contact surface on the model. The settings described in this guide will improve the appearance of the contact surface between the model and the supports. The adjusted support contact surface is shown in the image below.

¶ Required Tools and Materials:
- PLA filament ×1
- PETG filament ×1
¶ Important Notes:
- Using this method will increase printing time.
- This method is suitable for models with large, flat overhanging areas. It is not suitable for figures, anime statues, or similar types of models.
¶ Operating Steps:
¶ 1. Load the PLA and PETG filaments into any two channels of the CANVAS system.
¶ 2. Set the material type and color via the touchscreen.

¶ 3. Select "Sync" in the Elegoo Slicer.

¶ 4. Load the model into the slicing software.

¶ 5. Modify the support settings:
a. Enable supports and set the support type to "Normal."

b. Set the support/raft interface material to PETG, set the Top Z Distance to 0, and set the support interface pattern to "Lines / Overlapping Lines / Grid" (Lines recommended).

After completing the above settings, slice the file and start printing. The contact surface between the model and the supports will achieve a smooth finish.
