¶ Maintenance Period
It is recommended to maintain the printer every 3 months.
¶ Instruction
¶ Maintenance for X-Axis Plain Shaft
- Power off the printer and unplug the power cord.
- Use dust-free cloth to clean the stain on the surface of the X-axis plain shaft.
- Apply lubricating grease to the lead screw cleaning tool and apply the lubricating grease to both sides of the plain shaft.
- Slide the print head left and right to distribute the grease more evenly.
- Clean the excess grease accumulated at the ends of the plain shaft using dust-free cloth.
- Clean and lubricate the other X-axis plain shaft in the same way.
¶ Maintenance for Y-Axis Plain Shaft
- Power off the printer and unplug the power cord.
- Clean the stain on the surface of the Y-axis plain shaft using dust-free cloth.
- Apply new grease to the plain shaft surface.
- Slide the print head left and right to distribute the grease more evenly.
- Clean the excess grease accumulated at the ends of the plain shaft using dust-free cloth.
- Clean and lubricate the other Y-axis plain shaft.
¶ Maintenance for Z-Axis Plain Shaft
- Insert the power cord and power on the printer.
- Navigate to "Function - Homing" on the touchscreen. Clean the stain on the surface of the upper part of the Z-axis plain shaft using dust-free cloth.
- Clean the stain on the lower part of the surface of the Z-axis plain shaft using dust-free cloth.
- Apply new grease to the surface of the plain shaft.
- After the homing process, navigate to "Z-axis down" to lower the heated bed to the bottom. Navigate to "Z-axis Homing" again to apply the grease evenly.
- Lower down the Z-axis. Clean the excess grease accumulated at the ends of the plain shaft.
- Clean and lubricate the other 2 Z-axis plain shafts in the same way.
¶ Maintenance for Z-Axis Lead Screw
- Navigate to "Z-axis Homing" on the touchscreen.
- Clamp the dust-free cloth onto the surface of the lead screw u=400x200sing the self-printed cleaning tool.
- Clean the lead screw with one hand and lower or arise the Z-axis with the other.
- Apply new grease to both sides of the lead screw.
- After the homing process, navigate to "Z-axis down" to lower the heated bed to the bottom. Navigate to "Z-axis Homing" to apply the grease evenly.
- Clean the excess grease accumulated at the ends of the lead screws.
- Clean and lubricate the other 2 Z-axis lead screw in the same way.
¶ Cleaning for the Z-Axis Linear Bearing Holes
- Remove large foreign objects using a pair of tweezers in the holes.
- Put the cleaning gel into the holes. Wait for 1 - 2 minutes. Take out the cleaning gel to remove other debris like dust.
- Clean and lubricate the other 2 linear bearing holes in the same way.
