¶ Instruction
¶ Remove the Old Filament Runout Detection Module
- Power off the printer and unplug the power cord.
- Unplug the ribbon cables of the filament runout sensor module.
- Use tweezers to press down the release tab on the fitting, then pull out the PTFE tube.
- Use a 2.0 mm Allen wrench to loosen the 2 screws securing the filament runout detection sensor, then remove the old filament runout sensor module.
¶ Install the New Filament Runout Detection Module
- Place the new sensor module in position and use the 2.0 mm Allen wrench to tighten the two screws.
- Connect the sensor cable to the new module.
- Reinsert the PTFE tube into the fitting.
- Power on the printer. Insert filament to verify the sensor LED turns on; remove the filament to confirm the LED turns off. The printer is ready for use.
