¶ Instruction
¶ Remove the old connection cable
- Power off the printer and unplug the power cord.
- Lift the touchscreen and remove it.
- Press the clips at the two sides of the connection cable port and remove the cable.
- Loosen the 10 screws securing the back cover of the printer using a 2.0 mm Allen key, then remove the back cover.
- Tear off the black tape attached to the touchscreen port on the motherboard. Lift the clip and remove the connection cable of the touchscreen.
- Remove the old connection cable completely.
¶ Install the new connection cable
- Prepare the new connection cable.
- Insert the cable onto the port on the motherboard. Press the clip and securing the cable. Attach the black tape on the clip.
Note: The connection cable has a fixed installation position.
- Put the bottom cover in the installation position by aligning it with the foot pad holes and screw holes. Tighten the 10 screws securing the bottom cover using a 2.0 mm Allen key.
- Prepare the touchscreen. Press the connection cable and insert it into the port.
Note: The connection cable has a fixed installation position.
- Put the touchscreen in origin place by aligning it with the clip holes.
- Plug in the power cord and power on the printer. Power on the printer. The printer is ready for use after the touchscreen works normally.
